Felix Omozusi was born in Brooklyn, New York, to African parents from Nigeria, Ghana, and Togo, and grew up living between West Africa and New York. Inspired by Barack Obama’s historic presidency, he discovered a lifelong commitment to public service while studying Political Science at Stony Brook University.
After pursuing a successful acting career, Felix returned to politics, serving as a Constituent Liaison in the New York State Senate, Community School Director, and Outreach Director for humanitarian initiatives.
Settling in Co-Op City, he has led voter registration drives, civic engagement workshops, and campaign management while advocating for education, housing, public safety, seniors, and environmental justice.
With over a decade of experience across government, education, and community advocacy, Felix is running for New York State Assembly in the 82nd District to empower residents, protect communities, and build opportunity through legislation, education, and intentional partnerships.
He is committed to ensuring every voice is heard and every community thrives.
